Laura Matera

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Laura Matera serves with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) as the Executive Vice President of Action Sports. Action sports are known for their individuality and risk-taking, and include BMX, kitesurfing, mountain biking, skateboarding, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, rock climbing and wakeboarding. Laura has the heart to walk alongside global, regional, and local leaders as they grow and develop in Christ serving their communities through FCA. With a background in Social Work and a master’s in counseling, she finds deep joy in serving and connecting with her community and providing opportunities for others to do the same.

Laura has three daughters. Claire and her husband Eli live in Missouri and serve with FCA in the Ministry Support Center. Kate and her husband Caleb are on staff with FCA and will be serving FCA Lacrosse in Florida. Louise attends Liberty University.
