Caitlin Terry

Hydromissions
Caitlin is a licensed civil engineer from Vineland, NJ. Her passion is to travel to remote impoverished villages worldwide, showing God's love as she trains and equips people to gain access to safe drinking water; construct proper sanitation facilities; and understand basic hygiene principles. Caitlin started constructing water projects abroad in 2009, part-time, serving for up to three months in villages from Central America to East Africa to Central Asia. In 2013, Caitlin quit her job to take over managing a small faith-based non-profit, Hydromissions, which partners with Christians living abroad to provide them technical assistance in water, sanitation, and hygiene. Providing water to meet a person’s physical needs opens the door to provide for their spiritual needs. Caitlin prefers working alongside the community members, manually drilling water wells. It takes time for her to build their trust, but she feels honored to be serving God in this capacity, an unusual mission for a female. Caitlin spends most of her time abroad, but when she is stateside, she can be found swimming in the ocean, camping, hiking, or eating way too many soft pretzels (her favorite!) with family and friends. Check her blog at www.howmanycows.com to keep updated and know how to pray for her and her projects.
