Kranthipaul (KP) & Landmark Bible College

Bishop Somavarapu Kranthipaul was born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is married to Dorathi, and God blessed them with two children. His parents, Kotaiah and Mariyamma, converted to Christianity from a strong Hindu background.

During his early years, Kranthipaul (often referred to as "Kp") was passionate about disproving the Bible, viewing it as a flawed text. Ironically, this same man who once wanted to discredit the Bible would later hold it as the true Word of God, recognizing it as the greatest gift given to humankind. Bishop Kp accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior in 1997.

In 2000, he joined Youth With a Mission (YWAM) for a Discipleship Training School (DTS) and later pursued a Master’s degree in Divinity at a Bible college in Bangalore. God then sent him as a missionary to the Visakhapatnam district to work among the tribal villages in the mountains—serving communities that had never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, he and his team have planted 104 churches over the span of 16 years.

In 2021, he established Landmark Bible College in Visakhapatnam. Over the past three years, 47 students have graduated, and 26 students are currently enrolled in the 2024 batch. Landmark Bible College is at the forefront of efforts to evangelize and bring the gospel to every village in India.

In addition to evangelism, Bishop Kp’s ministry focuses on transforming communities by providing aid to the poor, needy, and destitute, including those affected by HIV, members of the leprosy community, and flood victims. They are dedicated to supporting these vulnerable groups with essential relief supplies.
