Dr. William & Leslie Renninger

During Rick’s college years he spent two summers in Ocean City doing evangelism with CRU. Leslie taught children with learning disabilities before and after our marriage.  Rick earned two master degrees at Western Seminary. In 1981 we moved to Belgium with our 3 yr. old daughter. Rick taught at the Belgian Bible Institute for 13 years, and we were blessed with two Belgium-born sons.

When we returned to PA in 1995, Rick completed his Ph.D., taught for 12 years at Alvernia University.  Rick serves as an elder at Brick Lane Community Church in Elverson, PA. Leslie serves in children’s ministry and a week at a Joni and Friends Retreat.

In 2010 Rick was invited to teach pastors in Nigeria. That began a new direction, leading to multiple trips to 9 countries. As of 2013 Rick has been the ELI Project Director for Sierra Leone working with Musa, among a large Muslim population and one of the poorest countries on the planet. Our ministry is holistic including evangelism, pastoral training, church planting, mercy ministry, clean water and improving agricultural yields to help subsistence farmers.
